Finca Las Moritas, nestled in the Sierra de las Minas region of El Progreso, began as a modest one-acre farm in 1988. Founded by Jose Higinio Gómez and Aura Libia de Jesús Gómez Garcia, it has since grown into a thriving 150+ acre operation. The farm benefits from high elevations and nutrient-rich soils, ideal for developing complex coffee flavors. After harvest, cherries are expertly processed at the historic La Esperanza mill, ensuring a cup that is both bold and nuanced. This lot highlights the enduring spirit of Guatemalan coffee farming, offering a taste of its vibrant, growing community.
